It’s 1962 and the Cold War is reaching boiling point. The world is split between the opposing forces of capitalism and communism. As revolution erupts in the small Middle Eastern nation of Al-Khadra, its vast oil wealth risks falling into the wrong hands. As a world leader, your responsibility is to make sure that peace is preserved — no matter what the cost.

Watch the consequences of your actions played out as a new chapter in world history is written.

The Situation Room was created by Oscar Mike (James Blakey, Tom Mansfield and Hannah Sibai) and created as a BULB Commission from Hull Truck Theatre and Greyscale Theatre. It was developed with The Lowry. The Situation Room toured in Autumn 2012 to venues including Hull Truck, Shoreditch Town Hall, Stockton ARC and The Lowry. In 2013 it ran for two weeks at Shoreditch Town Hall and it had a residency at the Bike Shed Theatre in 2014 as part of The Identity Project.
