Upstart Theatre exists to develop and promote thrilling, entertaining and compelling new theatre that explores the very biggest questions facing our society. To keep making this happen, we need your help.

This autumn, Upstart is taking our co-production of The Maddening Rain, the brilliantly dark comedy about the financial crisis, on tour across the UK and to the Brits off Broadway festival in New York. We and our partners Darbourne Luff have raised £4,250, as well as receiving a grant of just under £10,000 from Arts Council England, but we still need to raise another £750 to make the project happen.
