Kate McGregor | Associate Director
Kate trained as a Director at Drama Studio London and has a First Class degree from The Central School of Speech and Drama. She recently directed Mamet’s Mr. Happiness & The Water Engine in the Old Vic Tunnels achieving 5 star reviews, an Off West End award nomination and Time Out Critic’s Choice.
Her other directing credits include: The Perfect Party (New Wimbledon Studio, Camden People’s Theatre & Marlborough Little Theatre, Brighton) Script Slam! (Soho Theatre), Quango 193 (Westminster, site-specific), The Devil Is An Ass (White Bear), Never Any Fruit (Pleasance Theatre, Islington & The Rondo, Bath), Beyond Therapy (Hen & Chickens), Shout Across the River (Courtyard Theatre), The Surveyor (New End Theatre), Whole Blue Sky (Unicorn Theatre) Final Play (Tabard Theatre) Panphobia (Stratford Circus) and Journey (EU Tour).
Kate is Artistic Director of award-nominated company Theatre6 and has led participatory theatre projects in Romania, Hungary, Kosova and Northern Ireland. She is a member of the Young Vic Director’s Network.
