Laura Casey is currently on the post-graduate Directing course at Mountview Academy where she has recently directed England by Tim Crouch and assisted Trilby James on The Last Night of Ballyhoo by Alfred Uhry. Other directing credits include Urban Legends devised and directed by Laura for That Theatre Company, Copenhagen, Denmark and Antigone by Jean Anouilh for The Improv Group, an abstract improvisation group led by Laura in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne. Assisting credits include The Lover and Dumb Waiter by Harold Pinter for That Theatre Company, Copenhagen, Denmark. Laura hopes to pursue a career creating pieces of theatre that cross the boundaries between new-writing and devised theatre.
