Tom Mansfield is Joint Artistic Director of Upstart Theatre. His productions for the company include Water Sculptures (Theatre503, English Theatre of Bruges and Union Theatre), Chickpea Sickday Picasso Sabotage (Union Theatre and Etcetera Theatre), The 22nd July Project (Oval House Theatre), Meat (Smirnoff Underbelly), Gardening Leave (Union Theatre and Norden Farm Arts Centre), Special (Etcetera Theatre) and These Things Happen (Crescent Theatre, Birmingham). Other productions include A Little Night Music (Cumbria Institute of the Arts), Eleanor Rigby (Mart Theatre) and Can't Stand Up For Falling Down (Attic Theatre). Tom has also worked as an assistant director at a number of London venues, most recently on the UK premiere of Purgatorio by Ariel Dorfman at the Arcola Theatre.
