Nathalie Pownall

Nathalie Pownall trained at the Bristol Old Vic Youth Theatre and ALRA.

Previous Theatre includes Martha in Spring Awakening at the Ustinov, Bath Theatre Royal, and The 3 Witches in Macbeth for Community 20 and in November she will play Kay in the premiere of The Next Swan Down The River Might Be Black for Weaver Hughes Ensemble at the Old Red Lion.

Nathalie is also a founder of Tutuma, an AIDS organization in Zimbabwe which, through theatre and dance, seeks to support young children and orphans affected by HIV. In 2006 Tutuma were commissioned to produce the African premiere of Closer in which she played Alice at HIFA (Harare International Festival of Arts).

TV includes Doctors, Casualty, and Doc Martin. Film credits Timmy in Credo and Hero in 50 Feet.

Nathalie's poety has been recorded for radio, and she can be heard narrating Audio Trails for various heritage nature trails across the country.
