Zoo

In the middle of an unidentified conflict, the animals in the park Zoo have found themselves abandoned, One last keeper stands between them and the outside world. When two mysterious strangers arrive in the middle of the night, the Tiger, the Chimp and the Slow Loris are forced to choose between the apparent safety of their cages and the uncertain freedoms of the outside world.

Imaginative, darkly comic and original, ZOO was read at the Royal Court Theatre in 2004 then played as part of the ShortCuts Festival at the Arcola Theatre and Hackney Empire. This is its first full production.

Water Sculptures

As the 2012 Olympic Games are about to get underway, a massive flood destroys the Olympic Village and most of the city. An artist, an athlete and an office worker find themselves on a rooftop. How will they survive through the night – and is a sculpture still meaningful if it doesn’t even float? Water Sculptures is a surreal, visceral and darkly comic exploration of how we cling to our dreams – and how we survive without them.

Originally presented by Upstart Theatre as part of London Calling in March 2007, this production transferred to the English Theatre of Bruges in August 2007 before returning to London as part of this full run.
