This piece of work, it’s about skateparks. It’s about the people there. It’s about hanging out and drinking cheap coke and chatting shit and landing tricks. It’s about being kicked out and finding someplace new, someplace where the normal social codes don’t exist anymore, where you’ve got to fall, get up and go again. Somewhere in the edgelands where money doesn’t matter, time doesn’t matter, where it’s alright to fail and be amazing at the same time. It’s presented by Simon, but he’s been helped hugely by: Adam Kammerling, Alex Burston, Jenni Jackson, The Lowry, Cast in Doncaster, Projects MCR, The Lawrence Batley Theatre, all the skaters, blades, BMXers, and Scooterers he’s chatted shit with. Thanks.
