‘It’s like you’re being hit over and over again or like having eight alarm clocks in your bedroom. How is a human being meant to process this information?’ (Caroline Hickman)

Plummeting insect numbers. A sixth mass extinction. Thinning of ice sheets. Sea level rise. The Amazon is burning. Yet we keep going; drinking and partying like never before. In the casino we roll the dice as the planet collapses. A unique game based experience tackling eco-anxiety and humanity’s inaction.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS

Kill The Cat is an ongoing collaboration between theatre makers Madeleine Allardice and Dylan Frankland. Our work is bold, witty and keenly interested in how performance interacts with audiences, creating a shared sense of community and ‘play’. Our work has toured the UK performing in theatres, pubs, cafes and even an abandoned boat warehouse.

Praise for previous work:

★★★★★ (Upper Circle/ London Theatre 1) 'Totally human, and raw, and urgently, desperately necessary...one of the most uplifting and touching moments of theatre I have seen in a long time' -Upper Circle

‘could well start a new movement in theatre’ (The PRSD).
