The Leaning Tower of PisaOn 15th December 2001, the Leaning Tower of Pisa was re-opened to the public after being closed for repairs and renovations for over a decade. Authorities proudly declared that the tower, which first began leaning five years after construction began in 1173, would be stable for at least the next 300 years.

This is a bit of a relief. It's good to know that at least one thing in the world is going to be stable for another three centuries. But what do we mean by "stable" exactly? How can we guarantee that anything is going to be stable - especially for three hundred years?

Dominic Fitch of small change theatre explores these questions, explores this lean, explores events surrounding December the 15th. Expect verbose waffling, highly pretentious moments of stillness and a barrel full of facts, most probably told to music with santa hats...it's nearly Christmas after all.

Find out more about Dominic's ideas, plans and general happenings on the Act/React blog.

Also, what with it being nearly Christmas, we're looking on this final Act/React event as an opportunity for a bit of a party. Stick around after the show for some more entertainment - details soon.
